Sonny Edd, age 75 of Dayton, passed away March 14, 2013. He was born June 10, 1937 in White Oak, Tennessee to the late Jimmy and Ome Davis. In addition to his parents, Sonny was preceded in death by his wives: Cynthia Davis and Lillian Davis; grandson, Joshua Matthew Davis; 2 sisters and 7 brothers.

Sonny is survived by his children: Sunny Gail Davis-Clawson, Rickey Lynn (Tiffany) Davis and Jimmy Edd (Rosetta) Davis; step-children: Pauletta, Sandra, Steven, Anthony and Scott; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; brother, Daniel Davis; sister, Ethel Mae Davis; special best friend, Jean Rowe; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Sonny retired after many years of owning his own company, Davis Construction. He was an avid fisherman and loved to play poker and pool.
