Ruby H. (Hall) Mitchell, age 85 of Xenia, Ohio passed peacefully into the hands of our Lord on Sunday the 29th of April 2012 at The Hospice of Dayton, after a short illness. Ruby was born in Teaberry, Kentucky on the 5th of May 1926.

Married to John Mitchell, her husband of 46 years, Ruby was a devoted wife and mother. She was a long time member of the Victory Temple Church, Fairborn, OH. Retiring after 30 years of service to Inland Manufacturing in Dayton. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband John, her 2 infant sons Sherbert Dale and Michael David, parents Beatrice and Frank Hall, brothers, Bud and Bill, and her sister Velma. Ruby is survived by her sons, Herbert (Brenda) Mitchell of New Lebanon, Daniel (Rebecca) Mitchell of Xenia, her grandchildren, Regina Mitchell, Dayna (Donnie) Sheehan, Barbie (Brandon) Wickenhofer, Andrew (Glenda) Mitchell, Matthew (Amy) Mitchell, her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Tadlock, Tomi Green, Wyatt & Judy Mitchell, and great-great grandchild Daniel Lee Tadlock. Ruby is also survived by her sisters, Goldie Hamilton of Kentucky, Magdalene Tackett of Michigan, Irene Little of Kentucky, Geraldine (Joseph) Born of Miamisburg, her brothers, Lloyd (Caroline) of Kentucky and Emitt (Diana) of Xenia and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday May 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Victory Temple Church, 2443 Valle Greene Drive, Fairborn, OH, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
