Joseph Martin Tarkany, age 60 of Bellbrook, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. He was born September 19, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Alexander and Anna Tarkany.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Joseph is survived by his father; four brothers, John (Beth), Chris (Diane), Nick (Marcia), and James (Lori) Tarkany. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like express their deepest appreciation to Joe's friends at: Miami Valley Astronomical Society, Five Rivers Metro Parks, and St. Vincent DePaul of Dayton. In lieu of flowers donations of money or time may be made to any of the above charities in Joe's memory.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 21, 2015 at 10:30 am at The Church of The Incarnation Catholic Church (55 Williamsburg Lane, Centerville, Ohio 45459). Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
