1946 - 2015

Charles “Bob” Ravencraft, returned home on June 27th, 2015, proceeding in death, mother, Mattie Enright and brother, Damon Padgett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Virginia Mae Ravencraft; two daughters, Mealie and Jimmy Sizemore, Virginia “Sissie” and Chad Scott; four grandchildren, Jimmy and Amber Sizemore, Kristin Wehrley and Jonathan Hardy, Dennis “DJ” Ravencraft and Miranda Ryan, Shelby Sizemore and Aaron Southworth; five great-grandchildren, Colton Sizemore, Ryan Ravencraft, Aedan and Jaxon Hardy, and little Emerie Southworth that will be joining our family in August and his best friend for over 50 years, always been family and card playing buddy, Bob Thorpe.

The family would like to thank Heartland of Kettering Nursing Home, Miami Valley Hospital and the Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6th, 2015 from 4-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
