In Memory Of
Vic Olsen
1938 - 2015
Years ago, Vic believed the gospel message in I Corinthians 15:3-4. He knew he was a sinner and that he needed a Savior. He placed his faith in the fact that “Christ’s death paid the full penalty for his entire sin debt.” “Christ was buried and He rose again on the third day.” At that moment Vic trusted this Biblical message of salvation, he became a permanent member of the Body of Christ-a new creature-with the promise of an eternal heavenly home.
This promise by God is available to anyone who places their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Vic is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Viviane Monique (Stenger) Olsen; sons, James (Christine) Olsen and Marc (Cynthia) Olsen; grandchildren, Joshua and Claire Olsen; brothers, Vernon and Karl Olsen; sisters, Valerie Hubbard and Merrilee Gavigan; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family in the U.S. and France. He also leaves behind many dear friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Laura (Knutsen) Olsen and granddaughter, Emilie Grace Olsen.
Vic proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and Army.
While on earth, Vic was employed by the following Dayton area businesses; Dayton Tire and Rubber, Frigidaire and GM Moraine Assembly. Vic also taught economic and management courses at Sinclair College and Capital University.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Bible Fellowship Inc., Discerning the Times Broadcasting, Post Office Box 87, Alpha, OH 45301 or Berean Bible Society, N112 W17761 Mequon Rd., P.O. Box 756, Germantown, WI 53022, in Vic’s memory.
