Wright, George W. “Marion”, age 83 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Grandview Hospital. George was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine of 59 years and his parents, George & Blanche Wright; brother, Bill and sisters, Gladys, Ann and Midgie.

He is survived by his 4 children, Theresa D’Anjou of Las Vegas, David & Lisa Wright of Huber Heights, Lisa & Jeffery Fugate of Huber Heights, Timothy & Stephanie Wright of New Carlisle and many nephews and nieces. He has 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Stone Springs Nursing Home for the great care he received while there and to his nursing staff in MICU at Grandview Hospital.

George was a proud veteran in the U.S. Air Force having served during the Korean War. He was a long time member of Fairborn Pentecostal Church of God, 552 Fairfield Ave. where a visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2015. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 29 at the church with burial to follow at Byron Cemetery.
