Age 56, passed away May 19, 2015. She was born August 5, 1958 in Dayton, OH to the late, William McCarthy and Phyllis (Mobley) and John Powers. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Marie McCarthy.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Callihan; children, Cristy McCarthy (William Fenner), Edward Callihan Jr. (Amanda Plymire), and Matthew Callihan; siblings, William (Patricia) McCarthy, Matthew McCarthy, Vivian (Craig) Stockton, and Johanne Vest; 6 grandsons; 8 granddaughters; 1 great-granddaughter; dear friend, Violet Whalen-Swink; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anne loved life and her animals. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, mamaw, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
