He is survived by daughter, Christina and her husband, Thomas Biggs, Jr.; daughter, Julie Cannaday and son, David Means; his grandchildren, Christopher and Matt Means, Jason and Brandon Cannaday.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; father, James T. Means and mother, Hattie Mae Cramer.
Jim was a regional manager at Nickel’s Bakery. He built model ships and model railroad layouts and enjoyed drawing and painting.
He was blessed by kind neighbors who looked out for him.
He was loved very much and the nurses and patient care techs at Lane Park of Huber Heights and The Hospice of Dayton made his last year of life, safe, comfortable and peaceful.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Jim’s memory.
