John Robbins
1938 - 2012

ROBBINS, John age 74, passed away June 25, 2012.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Alice Robbins; first wife, Naomi Robbins; and sisters, Joanne Gray and Pat Winkleman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Powell-Robbins; children, Michelle Stout and Scott (Patty) Robbins; grandchildren, Christopher Robbins and Jason Stout; step-children, Jeremy Powell and Kimberly Powell; step-grandson, Tyler Hawley; brothers, Harold and Warren Robbins; dear friend, Charlotte Szabo; and numerous other dear friends and family members.

John retired after 47 years of service from DP&L and was currently working at Neaton in Eaton. He also served in the United States Air Force. John was a member of the Irish Club of Dayton, the Eagles, and the Moose Lodge.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the funeral home.
