Melinda S Sloane, age 63 of Dayton, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 26, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Gordon and Dorthy Wray.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gordon Wray, Sr.; husband, Odell Sloane, Jr.; brothers, Gordon Wray, Jr. and Jeff Wray.

She loved her 2 dogs, Dorothy and Lily; cat Gracie, gardening, crafts, card playing, spending time with family and reading.

Melinda is survived by her mother, Dorthy Wray; daughter, Rachel L (Robert) Eldridge; son, Ryan W (Danielle) Sloane; sisters, Suzanne (Aaron) Gord, April (Mark) Hanauer, Lori Mendel; grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis and Rylee. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Per the family's request a private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
