Larry R. Dowst, age 63 of Beavercreek, passed away on April 11, 2018. Larry was born in Norwood, PA to the late Ken and Marjorie Dowst. After graduating high school, Larry enlisted to serve in the United States Air Force. He faithfully and honorably served for 4 years from 1972 - 1976, spending much of his deployment at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. After his service, Larry went on to earn his degree from Neumann University.

Larry married the love of his life, Christi, in 1999. Larry was an avid traveler and was very dedicated to his work. Larry worked for Kaney Aerospace for the past 8 years. During his career, Larry and his family were on assignment all over the world, including the UK, Germany, and several states. Larry was a kind, caring, and compassionate husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Christi Dowst; son, Ben Dowst; brother, Ken (Mary) Dowst; and many nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Beavercreek Christian Church at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to The American Heart Association.
