Minnie was born on September 13, 1927 in War, West Virginia to the late Charlie and Bertha (Hankins) Puckett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Marvin McKinley; brothers, Henry, Floyd, Robert, and Dewey Puckett; sisters, Mae Lyons and Polly Horton; daughter, Lois Drake, and sons-in-law, Gary Drake, Jack Fremder, and Grandon Walker.
Minnie is survived by daughters, Jo Ann Fremder and Glenna Dean Walker; brother, Bill Puckett; sister, Sylvia Shelton; grandchildren, Tammy McMullen, Lisa (Ted) Mahan, Joanna (Tom) Mahan, Gary (Lisa) Drake, Julie (Bob) Ellis; great grandchildren, Nikki (Jesse) Stevens, Tiffany (Travis) McRoberts, Josh (Lisa) Mahan, Robin Long, Derick Cloud, Sheena (Robert) Sams, Debra Mahan, Luke McMullen, Brooke Hardman, Cory Mahan; great great grandchildren, Victoria McRoberts, Landon McRoberts, Nicholas Long, Elizabeth Long, and Liam Mahan, as well as numerous sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday, March 12, 2018 at Newcomer (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with a service following at 11:00 am. Burial will then follow at Centerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
