On Monday, February 19th 2018, Randall (Randy) Lee Jones passed away at the age of 57 years after an 11-month battle with cancer. Randy was born in Lima, Ohio on September 8th, 1960 to Jim and Imogene (Cecil) Jones.

Randy attended Ohio Northern University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He began his successful career as an engineer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1982, where he worked for 35 years. Randy enjoyed skiing, fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

He was a devoted husband to his wife of 25 years, Margery (Haas), and a dedicated father to his two sons, Elliott and Evan. Randy passed away at his home in Beavercreek, Ohio with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Jones of Lima, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, Imogene Jones, brother Gary Jones, wife Margery Jones, and sons Elliott and Evan Jones. Calling hours will be Friday, February 23rd from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at Holy Trinity Church in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, a non-profit organization which is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with cancer.
