Michael Dennis "Mike" Stewart
1949 - 2018

Stewart, Michael D. (“Mike” “Stewy”) passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.

Preceded in death by his parents, Faye and Glen L. Stewart, and a beloved aunt, Nellie Ethel Audas.

He was a graduate of Carroll High School and the University of Dayton. Mike was a retired Kettering Policeman, serving for 22 years. He also worked at Pet Smart and Toys R Us after his retirement.

He is survived by his devoted loving wife of 46 years, Mary, two daughters, Tiffany Stewart and her husband, Jorge Campos of Costa Rica and Kirsti Hassman and husband, Joe of Hillsboro, Ohio, nine wonderful grandchildren, many cousins and two aunts. Also two special childhood friends, Emily Dymond of Kettering and Thomas Schauer of West Virginia. Mike was known for his sense of humor and his love and generosity, always helping others.

According to his wishes there will be no service or viewing.

Thanks to River Oaks of Miamisburg, Dynamic Senior Solutions of Beavercreek, whose caregivers stayed with Mike 24/7 for days lessening his anxieties, and Hospice of Dayton who gently guided Mike on his final journey.

In lieu of flowers or cards, please make donations in memory of Mike to Dynamic Senior Solutions of Beavercreek, OH whose caretakers helped care for Mike during the past two weeks and Hospice of Dayton.
