Evonne Hayward was born on October 10, 1969 in Tumbleton, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Carl and Mary Salter-Spann. She departed this life on February 14, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Evonne graduated from Headland High School and continued her education at Alabama State University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting. Evonne worked as an accountant until her health begin to fail. She married Jon Hayward on July 27,2003 and they had one child in this union, Kaleigh Hayward.

She attended New Life Fellowship, helped in Girl’s Ministry, and was a child of God. She was a supportive mother and was very much loved. She was involved in Girl Scouts with Kayleigh.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a faithful and loving husband, Jon Hayward; a beautiful daughter, Kayleigh Hayward; two brothers, Kenneth (Tia) Spann of Dayton, Ohio, Steve (Chris) Spann of Sylacauga, AL; three Sisters, Jo Ann (Claude) Lee of Abbeville, AL, Carrie (Terry) Stovall of Newville, AL, Sharon (Bobby) Moore of Oxford, Alabama, Jon’s parents Robert and Myrna Hayward of New Lebanon, OH, his sister Andrea (Mark) Sheets Englewood, OH, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Larry Joe, Eldridge and Felix Spann.
