Holland, Joan C., 89, of Waynesville, passed away February 4, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Holland, son, Mark Connolly, and daughter, Shannon Nelson.
Joan is survived by her son, Rick Nelson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Connolly; step-son, Thomas Holland; twelve grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Sophie, Laura, Matthew, Sean, Nathan, Dylan, Galen, Mike, April, and Tracey; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Florence Myers and her family.
In her early years, Joan was a fashion model and buyer for the Rike’s Co. and then went on to become a Realtor. In retirement, Joan and Richard bought a small farm and raised various animals.
A private Celebration of Joan’s life will be held at a later date.
