He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Faith McClain and his beloved fur baby “Scootu.”
A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by a loving family – wife Nina (Kramer) of 20 years, daughters Molly (Brian), Joely (Jon), LaVonna; sons Dan, Steve (Toni), Billy (Vonda); special grandchildren Jace McClain, Brinly, Nate, Taylor, Jayden, Jesse, Celia, Kyle, Sheldon, Nicholas, Joshua and Jeremy; precious great-grandchildren Laynee and Landyn; sisters Vickie, Leah and Donna; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.
He was a friend to all and loved by many, especially Wayne and Denise, Tony and Trish, Gary and Pam, and Martha. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Larry’s life will take place on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Larry’s family will greet friends from 5-8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:45 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Dayton and Mended Little Hearts of Dayton.
