Jim was the son of the late Russell Masters and Mary Carter.
He was a 1954 graduate of Beavercreek’s Main School. Jim worked as a lifelong toolmaker and greatly enjoyed flying his model airplanes.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judith and son Jeffrey.
Jim is survived by his sons Steve, Mike and Tony; grandchildren Adam, Ashley, Chelsey and Shannon; as well as many other family and friends who were privileged to know him.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel. Burial will follow in Valley View Memory Gardens.
Jim’s family will greet friends from 12 pm-1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
