Rose M. Minch, age 77 of Centerville, OH passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio to Robert E. and Catherine M.(Ryan) Garrity.

Rose graduated from Catholic Central High School in Springfield, OH in 1958. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's of Education and obtained her Master's in Computer Information Systems from Central Michigan University. Rose worked for the Defense Electronics Supply Center in Kettering, OH and then transferred to and retired from Defense Logistics Agency in Columbus, OH. She was a very giving person who loved to laugh and enjoyed being with family and friends. Rose loved going to UD basketball games, rooting them on to victory at her last game on December 16, 2017. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Rose is survived by her sons, David (Brandi) Minch and Aaron Minch; two grandchildren, Kellan and Kenley Minch; two sisters, Margaret Russell and Celestine Garrity; a brother, Patrick (Shelley) Garrity; a sister in law, Joan Garrity; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Richard Garrity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 East Second Street, Dayton, OH 45402. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, OH.

Memorial contributions are requested to Society of Precious Blood or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
