Charles T. "Chuck" Chambers, age 75 of Dayton, OH passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born December 2, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Madge (Blair) Chambers.

Chuck graduated in 1961 from Stebbins High School and served his country proudly in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the VFW, was an avid fisherman and won fishing tournaments throughout Ohio. Chuck was a resident of Edgewater, Florida for 20 years, and enjoyed salt water fishing before moving back to Ohio. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Charles is survived by his mother Madge; a brother, William M. "Bill" (Barbara) Chambers, Jr.; a sister, Sandra L. (Merle) DeLaney; three daughters, Amanda (Jake) Nelson, Nikki and Stacy; and other nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William M. Chambers, Sr.

Funeral Service will be held on December 18, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial with honors will follow the service at Dayton National Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Dayton (Ohio's Hospice), 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
