Brewer, Anne Marie, “Annie”, 87, a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Fairborn, passed away December 6, 2017.

She was born August 30, 1930 in Cuba City, WI to the late Albert James “AJ” and Mary Genevieve (Whaley) Galligan. Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (David) Dall, brother, Bob Galligan, brother, Dick (Jane) Galligan; her great-grandson, Wilson Patterson and her brother-in-law, Ronnie Birkett.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Allen J. Brewer “Smiley”; 7 children, Barbara (Jeffrey Rollman) Berger, Patricia Morgan (Don) Seager, Thomas (Julia) Brewer, Catherine Levesseur (Doug) Hines, Teresa (Matt) Gnau, Timothy (Robbin Gaugler) Brewer, Mary Beth (Randy) Abbott; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Donna) Galligan; sister, Margaret Birkett; sister-in-law, Jean Galligan; numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends, Beth (Mark) Goodin; and her adopted granddaughter, Kacie.

She was a longtime member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, she had a strong, deep faith and was devoted to praying the rosary every day for her family. Anne worked at JC Penney at the Upper Valley Mall for 20 years. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and loved “to have her hair done”.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, December 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Mary, Help of Christian Catholic Church 954 N. Maple Ave. Fairborn, Ohio 45324. Additional visitation from 9:00am until time of mass on Saturday.

An expression of sympathy may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in Anne’s memory.
