1943 - 2017

Paul Edward “Eddie” Cupp Age 74 of Waynesville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.

Eddie was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 1, 1943 to Paul A. and Anita M. Cupp. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kimberly Thomes.

Survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Cupp, son, Joseph (Teresa) Cupp and daughter, Melissa Cupp all of Waynesville and son-in-law, Scott Thomes of Lebanon, Ohio. Siblings: LeRoy South, Alvin Cupp, Jess (Barbara) Cupp, Gary Cupp, and Cindy (Joe) Batdorf, Norma (Butch) Derr, Pat (Robert) Jewell, James (Pat) Mowery, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, Sixteen nieces and nephews and an abundance of additional family and friends.

Eddie graduated from Fairmont High School in 1963 and served in the United States Navy as an Engineman. He was employed and retired from KK Motorcycle Supply after 35 years. He was a member of First Grace Brethren Church for over 35 years. He enjoyed repairing cars and helping people any way he possibly could. He never met a stranger and soon became a friend to everyone he met. He passionately loved drag racing at various tracks and all of his extended family in the racing community. He loved his family and friends and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Eddie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends may express their love at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439 on Sunday December 10th from 5pm until 8 pm. A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at First Grace Brethren Church, 2624 Stonequarry Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414 on Monday, December 11, 2017. Friends may call at 10:00 am and the service will begin at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bruce Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest at Miami Cemetery 6379 Corwin Ave, Waynesville, Ohio 45068.
