WRIGHT, Darleen (Byrd), 80, of Riverside, OH passed away November 22 at Grandview Medical Center. She was an extraordinary woman who loved her family, friends, and flowers, nurturing all to grow as strong and beautiful as possible. Darleen was born in Campton, KY and was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Emma Byrd, four brothers, Henry, IB, Brave, and Bruce Byrd, and three sisters, Justine Brewer, Jewel Gifford, and Dixie Harrison. She is survived by two sisters and one brother-n-law, Mabel Williams and Phyllis (Paul) Little. She has been loved greatly by her husband of 63 beautiful years, William (Bill) Wright, three daughters and sons-in-law of whom she was extremely proud , Beverly (Danny) Palmer, Connie (Eric) Jensen, Carolyn (Edward) Wojcik, seven grandchildren who were her life’s greatest joys, Pam (Jon) Pirk, William Jensen, Brooke Palmer, and Lindsey (Ryan) Temple, and Katharine Wojcik, four great-grandchildren with whom she felt blessed to share their lives and enjoyed every second, Tyler and Logan Pirk, and, Gavin and Olivia Temple. She also leaves behind several cousins with whom she maintained life-long relationships. She was exceptionally close with her nephews and nieces whom she loved beyond measure, and friends who were like family. She was a remarkable woman who welcomed everyone as family with a kind smile, generous heart and with whom she shared love and laughter. She made our world special and it will forever be changed with her passing. Family will greet friends Tuesday, November 28 from 5-7 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, OH. Services will be held at Newcomer on Wednesday, November 29 at 12:00 with a grave-side service to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
