Joene McAlister Tipton, 78, of Fairborn, passed away November 15, 2017. Joene was born in Harlan County, KY on January 7, 1939 to the late Albert McAlister and Dessie Middleton McAlister.

In addition to her parents, Joene was preceded in death by her sisters, Violet Bryant, Dolly McAlister; and brother, Donald McAlister.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Algin Tipton; sister, Barbara McAlister; sister-in-law, Doris McAlister; nieces, Felicia Wooten, Faith Clem, Catherine Clem; nephews, Lance McAlister, Mark Bryant, Ben Clem, Derrick Wooten; cousin, Lawrence Riggs; and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 11:00 am-3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek.
