Steven Hadley
1975 - 2017

Steven Hadley, aka Country, passed away unexpectedly on Oct 16, 2017. He was 42.

Not one for a desk job, he worked as stagehand, travelling the world and eventually settling back down in Dayton to work in theatres and concert venues all over the area. He never knew a stranger, and had a laugh that was only eclipsed by the perpetual grin on his face. He also never met a taco he didn’t like.

He was preceded in death by his mother Deborah Hadley and his grandparents Charles and Macil Kidd. Steven is survived by his sister and brother in law Shannon (Hadley) and Tom Sellars, aunts and uncles Shirley (Kidd) Saluke and Jeff Bennett, Chuck Kidd, Chris and Cindy Kidd, multiple cousins, and an army of friends worldwide.

On Monday Oct 23rd a gathering of friends will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm with a celebration of Steven’s life immediately following at Fort McKinley Church 3721 W Siebenthaler Ave, Dayton, OH 45406. There will be tacos!

In lieu of flowers gifts can be made to the emergency medical fund designed for stagehands called Behind the Scenes: behindthescenescharity.org.
