NEWMAN, Joseph Dennie "Joey", age 41 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2017. He was born in Kettering to parents Floyd Newman and Shirley Newman. Joey graduated high school from Kettering Fairmont in 1994 and went on to become a certified paramedic and firefighter through Sinclair and the City of Dayton. He worked for 17 years with City of Dayton Fire Department as both a firefighter and paramedic.

Joey had a passion for helping other and serving his community. He enjoyed racing and spending time with his family and friends. Joey was a member of the Moose Lodge #73 and was also a Mason. He was a caring and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley A. Darling.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Tiara Newman; children, Austin Morgan, Isabelle Hain, and Lilli Newman; father, Floyd (Pauline)Newman; sister, Elizabeth (Richard) Lafferty; brother, Jason E. Newman; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 5pm - 7pm at Dayton Fire Department Union Hall/Activity Center (3616 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424).
