Nancy Marshall-Mooney, 61, lost her fight with cancer on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in Kettering, Ohio.

Nancy was born on November 2, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio.

Nancy is preceded in death by Grandmother, Bessie Georgeff, Parents, Carl and Frances Marshall, Sister Carleen Botecheli, and Grandson, Christopher Marshall.

Nancy is survived by her children, Christopher A. Marshall and Sarah N. (Dereck) Mooney-Farris, Siblings, Carl Marshall Jr, Charles Marshall and Margaret Mullins, and Grandchildren, Autumn Mooney, Tyler Farris, Rylan Farris, Kegan Farris, Jack Farris, Jacob Jarrell and Erin Tate.

Nancy was an enduring, self-reliant woman with a gentle, loving heart and such a giving soul. Compassionately there for anyone in need. Humorous and fun-spirited, yet a straight shooter.

Nancy fought until her last breath, and is now free with her loved ones in heaven. She will be missed tremendously until we are joined again in heaven.

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 13,2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00, followed with a funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, Dayton South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439.

She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery (Dayton).
