Madeleine Margaret Donahue, 92, of Dayton, passed away September 17, 2017. Madeleine was born in Plamondon, Alberta, Canada on October 20, 1924 to the late Maxime and Lea Ladouceur. Madeleine worked as a laborer and a security guard. She was an office volunteer and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church for over 70 years. She was in the choir of the church for over 35 years. In her free time she enjoyed bingo, shopping and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, Madeleine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas Donahue; and 9 siblings. She is survived by daughter, Yvette (William) Donahue-Duffy; sister, Josephine (Jack) Sczembora; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 9 am-10 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 272 Bainbridge St., Dayton, OH 45402, where services will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer - Beavercreek Chapel.
