Dennis Isaacs, 89, of Jensen Beach FL, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away Sunday evening, September 3 after a lengthy illness. He was born April 26, 1928 in Owsley County, KY. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Fannie Price Isaacs. He retired from General Motors after 43 years of service as a tool and die maker. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Isaacs, and two sons Duane (Tina Eichman) Isaacs, and Bart (Tammy) Isaacs. He was a loving grandfather of one grandson Brandon (Elizabeth) Isaacs. He was one of seven children; one brother survives him, Bill (Novella) Isaacs of Corryton, TN.

Dennis was a World War II veteran, serving in the 82 Airborne Division of the US Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1950. He also was a member of the Nettles Island nondenominational church. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 10 from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a funeral service following at 3:00pm, at the Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the service at the Treasure Island Supper Club, 4250 Chief Woods Lane, Moraine, Ohio. All friends and family are invited. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Dayton.
