Sheila Jean Latew, born July 12, 1947, passed away July 21, 2017 at Kingston of Miamisburg with the support of Hospice of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Mounce, sweet brother, Darryl Mounce, grandparents, Fred & Ethel Wyatt and nephew, Kris Mounce.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Nina (L.H.) Jones; baby sister, Brenda Suttles; sisters, Tammy Bunn & Sheryl Shephard; nieces, Melissa & Kami; great-nieces, Shannon, Caitlyn & Rachel; great-nephews, Thomas, Kris Jr., Kyle & Sean; great-great-niece, Aubree & non relative, sweet girl Brooklyn. Sheila had a big heart & loved all her family & friends, but never got to see some of her nephews & niece.

Sheila graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1964. She lived in Atlanta, GA for many years managing different stores. Her last place to work was Victoria’s Secret in Dayton. Her love for her mother was true & genuine. She will be missed by all of her family, school pal, Linda White, and good friends, Beth Wellhelm & Georgia Flannery. Sheila looked forward to leave the pain & go be with God & her special brother Darryl.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Sheila’s memory.
