Donald L. Laypool, age 64 of Englewood, OH, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. He was born October 21, 1952 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of Virginia (Webster) Grierson. He graduated from Xenia High School in 1971 and married Robin Ferguson on October 3, 1971 in Beavercreek, OH.

Don was a General Manager for Wendy's in the Dayton area for 34 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of Knollwood Masonic Lodge #774 in Beavercreek. Don loved to boat on Lake Cumberland and was a lover of Corvettes and showed his car at local car shows. He loved to attend his grandchildren's activities, including soccer, baseball and school events and enjoyed swimming with them on "His Lake". Don loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Donald is survived by his wife Robin; two daughters, Rhonda (Ramon) Rivas and Heather (Greg) Means; four grandchildren, Samuel Rivas and Ian, Evan and Princess Mckenzie Means; his dog Bentley; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Mother.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
