1957 - 2017

Albert W. Weidenborner, "Dutch", age 60 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 14, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Albert and Lois Weidenborner.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jean Ann Weidenborner; father-in-law, Earl Schlater.

Dutch is survived by his wife, Sandy; five children, Holly, Max, Katie, Hunter, Jacob; brother, Andy Weidenborner; three grandchildren, Chance, Caleb, Callista; mother-in-law, Virginia Schlater; brother-in-law, Thomas (Sherry) Schlater; two sisters-in-law, Kathy (Neal) Homan, Joann (Kevin) Beck; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Dutch was employed as a plumber with the City of Dayton for 28 years. For many years, he was an active member of VFW Post #9936 and AmVets Post #24, and he continued to support many veteran organizations.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Smithville Rd., Dayton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Dayton VA Hospital, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428.
