Melissa Renee (Jones) Neal, 42, of Dayton, OH passed away May 15, 2017. Missy was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 17, 1975 to Jacky and Sondra (McElroy) Jones.

Missy loved music, especially country and enjoyed Pokemon hunting. She loved to fish, entertain people, was a selfless person who was always trying to help someone. Missy always had a minute to listen to anyone's problems no matter what problems she was facing herself, she would listen. She loved her son, her boyfriend Mikey, who she also enjoyed fishing with, her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by parents; her son, Bryan Neal; three brothers, Michael Smith, Jamey (Jamie) Jones and Bobby (Valerie) Jones; a sister, Jackie Jones; her boyfriend, Michael Gardner and son Michael Jr.; an aunt, Betty Conley; the father of her son, Robert Neal; a special friend, Tonya Welch; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by a maternal grandparent, Effie LaFevers; paternal grandparents, Mattie Jo and Lex Jones; and her brothers, Russell Welch and Roger Smith.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH, where services will begin at 2:00 pm with Major Gayle Krider officiating.
