Mary L. Brown, age 78 of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Grandview Hospital. She was born June 3, 1938 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of the late Robert and Lena Renew.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Renew; brothers, Robert and Richard Renew.

Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald; daughter, Sherrie Stecker; two granddaughters, Kristen (Nicolas) Chinchurreta, Kaylin (Angel) Malagon; four great grandchildren, Daniel Malagon, Isaiah Chinchurreta, Micaiah Chinchurreta, Leilah Malagon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was a proud military wife who was able to travel the world with her husband. She showed her love and compassion by being a foster parent to 56 children. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10 am also at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Dayton National Cemetery.
