Mowen, Clarence H. “Dick”, 71, of Dayton, passed away April 22, 2017.

He was retired from Premier Builders after more than 20 years.

Dick is survived by his wife, Daisy; 3 children, Lori Mowen Pruitt and husband, Steve, Anthony H. Mowen Sr “Tony” and wife, Tammy, Robert A. Mowen “Bobby” and wife, Karen; 12 grandchildren, Joshua L. Pruitt and wife, Tonya, Angela L. Pruitt and husband, Jonathon R. Towe, Amber N. Mowen, Robert Mowen, Zacharay L. Mowen, Ashlee D. Mowen, Jamar Anthony Mowen Jr, Tina Mowen, Alex Mowen, Kelsey Mowen, and Kenneth Mowen. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ruth Ann Gersback, Echo Mowen, Dean Mowen, Kevin Mowen, Chris Mowen, Dennis Mowen, Nancy Hitchcock, Mike Brown, Lisa Tipton, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alvin Mowen and Steve Brown.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9:30am until 10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., where funeral service will follow at 10:30am. Burial at Valley View Memorial Gardens.

Dick was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
