1934 - 2017

Herbert Louis “Sonny” Peach, lovingly known as Herb or Herbie by his friends, 82, of Kettering, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 17, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton. Born to Raymond J. and Ruth M. (Fiste) Peach on August 26, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years, Eula (Koogler) Peach; his son-in-law David Jordan Brown; his sisters, Norma Jean Gisewite and Martha Louise Zimmerman; and his parents.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Robert L. and Gloria D. Jordan; grandchildren Dorothy Rivera, Denny Foust, Arthur Foust, and James Grant; 20 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren; daughter Nancy Charlotte Brown; grandson Michael Jordan Brown; and great-grandson Donavon Evan Jordan Brown; many nieces and nephews; dear friends Bob and Sandy Israel, Kourtney, Eddie Fae Newsome, Austin, and many other loving friends. Herb went to Jefferson High School and retired from Harrison Radiator.

He was a member of The Gathering Church. He loved reading his bible daily and was a faithful servant. His loving spirit touched all who met him. He will be dearly missed.

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things, enter thou into the joy of the lord.” Matthew 25:21 KJV.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 9am on Friday, April 21, 2017 with Pastor Rudd officiating. Interment at Medway Cemetery.
