Prouty, Jean L., passed away March 27, 2017 at 8:42am.

Jean was born, January 23, 1950, and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She grew up with her two brothers, Ronnie Brown (deceased), Randy Brown, and her sister, Julia Manning.

She was a graduate of Belmont High School, and retired from General Motors in 2012.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Brown, her mother, Wilma Jean (Ross) Moore, and her brother, Ronnie Brown.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Brown; sister, Julia Manning; her two loving children, Erick Prouty and Heather Peters, and her two granddaughters, Olivia Larael Peters (8) and Zoe Lee Peters (4). Jean was deeply loved by her family and was an extremely caring and loyal woman. She enjoyed gardening, having coffee with her son, running around with her daughter, and playing with her granddaughters. We will all miss her immensely.
