Deborah was born May 4, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 2008 after a 32-year career in Centerville City Schools. She was an active member and volunteer at many area Lutheran churches throughout her life, and devoted her life to giving to others as shown through her frequent involvement with, and contributions to charities world-wide. She was a beloved sister, aunt, teacher, praise team leader, and musician.
She is survived by her two brothers, Thomas (Nancy) DeVilbiss and Theodore (Karen) DeVilbiss; two nieces, Marcie (Bryan) Stoniecki and Cydney (John) Harkness; two nephews, Brad DeVilbiss and Grant (Jessica) DeVilbiss; great-nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold DeVilbiss and mother, Rufena DeVilbiss.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 9:30-11:00am at Epiphany Lutheran Church (6430 Far Hills Ave, Centerville, OH 45459). The service will follow at 11:00am. Deborah will be laid to rest at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, (7217 National Rd, Brookville, OH 45309).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420), or Shoes 4 the Shoeless (PO Box 41655, Dayton, OH 45441).
