In Memory Of
Robert Carl ""Rob"" Markstrom
1974 - 2017

Markstrom, Robert Carl (Robbie), born 10/7/74, passed away unexpectedly on 2/17/17.

He is survived by his parents, Carl and Jeannie, his sister Elizabeth O’Donnell, his beloved daughter Logan, his grandmother Jean Markstrom and numerous relatives and friends.

Rob was a 1993 graduate of Centerville High school, where he played on the varsity hockey team for 4 years. He had a natural ability for the game and played from the age of 5 throughout his life.

He loved all sports, but was an avid University of Michigan fan. Rob had a real appreciation and love for being outdoors. One of his fondest memories was a trip to Minnesota where he navigated the Boundary Waters. He spent another summer in Montana working for a fly fishing tour company.

He worked many years in landscaping and had a natural gift and vast knowledge of numerous plants and trees.

We will miss your sparkling blue eyes, your engaging smile, and your charismatic, loving ways.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Logan’s 529 college fund which will be established.
