Durbin, Robert C., age 73 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2016. He was born in Beattyville, KY on December 10, 1942 to the late Wesley and Gracie Durbin.

He is survived by his beloved wife, of 52 years, Brenda; children Jerry (Jennifer) Durbin, of Bellbrook, Laura Reeder, of Enon, Karen (Jason) Parrott, of Mansfield; grandchildren Christina (Travis) Wheeler, Katherine (Bradley) Fryman, Alyssa (Kyle) Dameron, Tristan Reeder, and Sean, Jayden, Liam Parrott; great-grandchildren Tommy, Garrett, Axton, Kyler, and Alyson; as well as extended family and friends.

Robert loved his family, his faith, reading scripture, yardwork, and UK basketball. He was a volunteer of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In addition Robert was a member of the Wrightview neighborhood association. He worked at Duriron (Flowserve) and retired after 36 years.

The family will receive friends on Sunday December 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Right To Life in Roberts memory.
