He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Jean and daughter Kimberly Conway.
Dick attended school in Clayton, Brookville, Piqua and graduated from Milton-Union High School in West Milton. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and afterwards received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton. Dick pursued a career in sales and real estate brokerage.
Richard is survived by his son, Garry S. (Jill) Conway of Texas; sister, Mary Lou Chadwell, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton VA Hospice program.
