Neil J. "Big Boy" Fischer
1954 - 2016

Fischer, Neil J. “Big Boy”, 61, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016.

He was the proud plank owner of the “Nimitz”, served 10 years in the US Navy. Neil drove 22 years as an over the road truck driver. He was witty and creative with his messages and writing. Neil was a “fun loving" guy, everybody liked Neil. If he says to you “I’ve been thinking” you better sit down! He was a great lover of Christmas, he loved to decorate and enjoy Christmas. Neil was a big, avid Browns, Cavaliers, Cincinnati Reds, and Columbus Blue Jackets fan. He was a season ticket holder to Wright State Basketball. Neil loved music and loved to sing karoke, especially Neil Diamond and the Beatles. He liked Nascar and Jeff Gordon.

Neil is survived by his wife of 17 years, Cheryl A. Fischer, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Frank Andrews; brother, Gene and wife Gail and their daughter, Brittany; sister, Janice and her husband, Ervin Collinsworth and their sons, Christopher and Kevin, and Christopher’s daughter, Madyson, late brother, Raymond’s daughter, Courtney and husband, Chris Jenkins and their children, Kaitlen and Colten; and his faithful companions, Tipper, Susy and Little Max.
