Anita R. Kovach, age 80, of Washington Township, OH passed away on August 26, 2016. She was born on January 5, 1936 in Berlin, Germany to the late Heinz and Erna Schubert. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cornel, two daughters, June Boger (Patrick) and Jackie Goetz (Joseph), two stepsons, John and Philip Kovach and eight grandchildren: Sean (Adela), Nicholas, Amanda, Phil Jr., Anthony, Henry, Francesca, Christiana and one great grandson, Harper. She was also a loving sister to Karin (Hans), Hajo (Annemarie) and Jutta (Frank).

Anita loved music and was a member of the Sweet Adelines chorus for 30 years, winning many medals domestically and internationally. She loved to travel, cook, garden, sew and spend time with her family. She also loved the Christmas season, always decorating the house beautifully and baking delicious holiday pastries. She will be missed by many.

Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 31 at 12:00 PM at David’s Cemetery, Community Mausoleum Chapel and a reception will follow. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley at 31 W. Whipp Road, Dayton, OH 45459.
