Passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1976 and attended the West Central Congregation.
Jacqueline Joyce loved music and truly enjoyed singing songs of praise and honor to Jehovah and shared the good news to any who would listen. She was very family oriented and especially loved her grandchildren. She was definitely a people person and met no stranger. She was a cosmetologist and enjoyed making ceramics, gardening and cooking.
Jacqueline Joyce was preceded in death by her grandparents, Early L. and Leona Bonner; mother, Fannie Mae Childs; father, Edward Irwin; husband, Willie J. Stanley, Jr.; son, Darrell Wayne Childs; and dearly loved aunt Ophelia (sister) Bonner and uncles, Yule Bonner and Jack Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Paul) Bryant; grandchildren, Darrell (Sherika) Ward, Sr., Jade Childs, Jayelle Childs-McCathron, Sanoma (Brandon) Johnson, Dorian (Anna) Childs; great grandchildren, Dominique, Da'Sha, Darrell Jr., Allayah Ward; great great grandchildren, Jah'Rell Ware, Logan Johnson; cousins, Joyce Ann, Carolyn, Faye McDaniel, Yule (Moochie), David, Mitt, Jerome, Pat, Gary; and many other relatives, close friends and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1pm at Kingdom Hall, 1530 North James H. McGee Boulevard, Dayton. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
