He was born on April 20, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio to Beverly Abner Sr. and Rosalie Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Abner and sister, Barbara Jean Holmes.
Bev is survived by his loving wife, Holly; son, Dustin Gross; daughter, Christina (T.J.) Nobile; three step-sons, Levi Brewer, Justin (Jade) Brewer, Eian Rutledge; two sisters, Robin Osborne, Rita (Steve) Mayette; half-sister, Sarah Jean Mienko; step-sister, Julie Summers; step-brother, Marvin Summers; seven grandchildren, Luke Ferguson, Jasmyn and Lilly Nobile, Breanna Shears, Isaih Dent, Justine and Justynn Brewer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Bev is a veteran of the United States Navy. Although he was a man of few words, he was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. Memorial service will begin at 4 pm with military honors. Burial of cremated remains will be in the Dayton National Cemetery at 12 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016.
