Oliver, Maxine Helen
Heaven has a new angel!
It is a sad time for our family, but we rejoice in knowing our wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 25, 2016.
Maxine was 88 of Beavercreek, Ohio. She was born in Harriman, Tennessee on December 12, 1927. Standing at the gates of Heaven to welcome their daughter home were her parents; mother Lettie and father Lonnie Smith.
Mourning her passing are husband; James Oliver, daughters Phyllis (Hubert) Abney of Beavercreek Ohio and Lisa (Tim) Ankeney of Xenia, Ohio; son Larry (Betty) Oliver of Xenia Ohio. Grandchildren; Jon, Jeff, Trevor, Lindsay, D.J., and Corey; Great grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, and Carson Abney, Tyler, T.J., and Bailey Oliver, all mourning the loss of their Nana.
Maxine was a faithful Christian knowing Jesus as her personal Savior. Her family takes comfort and trust in the Word of God that she is with her Lord. While we will miss her earthly body we are comforted in knowing we will see her again. She was a faithful member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church and the family wishes to thank Pastor Carlson, Pastor Richard Schneider and Greg Earley for their Christian support.
Visitation will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4865 Wilmington Pike, Kettering Ohio 45450 on Thursday, April 28, 2016. The viewing will be from 9 am to 11 am with the service following. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to either Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association in Maxine’s name.
God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
